Sometimes we encounter a tendency to resist change instead of to embrace it. But we are the ones who determine whether change is good or bad. When we learn to practice meditation and begin to apply mindfulness through Vipassana, we can appreciate the positive aspects of change as well as their negatives. Every fall, the city puts a skating rink out in front of city hall for Torontonians to enjoy. The approaching of winter doesn’t only mean cold and miserable weather. It also means the beginning of winter sports.
